FOUNDER | CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Emma leads the creative direction of the studio, shaping strategy, design and brand thinking across projects. A graduate of the Billy Blue School of Design, she brings more than 25 years’ experience across design and marketing, working with organisations to communicate clearly, navigate complexity and build brands that feel grounded and real.

Her work spans identity, publications and digital, with a focus on creating design that hold together over time and across different contexts. She’s particularly experienced in projects that involve multiple stakeholders and public-facing communication, where careful thinking and a steady approach make all the difference.

Emma is known for her thoughtful yet practical approach, helping organisations create work that is both visually compelling and effective in the real world.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Jarl creates imagery that helps our clients present their work in an honest and authentic way.

His work ranges from commercial and environmental photography through to specific project work, images which are used across websites, publications and campaigns. Jarl focuses on capturing natural images that reflect the people, places, product and work behind each organisation.

Alongside his commercial work, he has exhibited landscape and fine art photography throughout Australia and overseas. His work has also included large-scale photographic installations for bars and hotels internationally, bringing together photography, interiors and visual atmosphere across a range of exhibition and commissioned environments.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

With over 20 years of experience in web development, Kate specialises in building reliable, high-performing websites and digital platforms that support real business needs. She's worked with teams ranging from small businesses to enterprise clients across a wide range of industries, delivering custom builds, CMS-driven solutions, and scalable systems focused on functionality, usability, and long-term performance.

From hands-on development and site maintenance to leading complex web projects, she's known for bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clear communication, smooth delivery, and consistently strong outcomes.

SOCIAL MEDIA & COPYWRITING

Maya supports Emma in work across copywriting and social media, helping organisations find the right words and connect with the people they want to reach.

A University of Tasmania english and marketing double degree student, she helps develop messaging and manage content that reflects each client’s voice and values across digital platforms. From website copy and campaign messaging to day-to-day social media management, Maya helps ensure communication remains consistent, engaging and meaningful.

VIDEO & ANIMATION

Ty works across video editing and animation, creating content that helps ideas and stories come to life. With a strong eye for detail and visual storytelling, he develops videos & animation that feel polished, engaging and easy to understand. From short promotional pieces to animated explainers, Ty helps clients communicate visually in ways that are clear, memorable and effective.

He has worked on projects for both Australian and international brands, delivering motion, animation and video content across a range of commercial and creative industries.

ADMIN & ACCOUNTS

Simone manages the studio’s bookkeeping, accounts and administrative operations, providing the financial and organisational support that underpins the day-to-day running of the studio. She oversees invoicing, scheduling and internal coordination, helping maintain efficient systems and smooth workflows across projects and client communications. Her detail-focused and highly organised approach plays an important role in keeping the business operating smoothly behind the scenes.
